Do I Have To Submit A Full Album?

With SongCast, you don't have to submit a full album if you want to sell your music online. Instead, you can submit just a single or an EP (Extended Play, which refers to a product which contains more music than a single, but is too short to qualify as a full album). Be sure to keep in mind that singles are $9.99 and albums or EPs are $19.99 as an upfront cost; after that, you just have to pay our monthly $9.99 membership fee to have your music available to several digital music retailers.

Other music distribution services require you to submit a full album in order to sell your music online. This can be a big drawback for many beginning and established artists because it requires you to come up with material you might not have at that time. This can delay your ability to sell your music online; instead of having to wait for your album to be complete, wouldn't it be better to just submit what you want to submit?

SongCast allows you to work with your personal music schedule in such a way that you can control every step of the music submission process. All you have to do is create an account with us when you are ready to sell your music online. With this account you will enter your artist information, as well as the details for your tracks and also upload your album cover (keep in mind that your album cover needs to be at least 3000 x 3000 pixels in dimension, in RGB Color Mode, and in a JPG, GIF or PNG file type).

Once all of your information is received, you're ready to upload your music! The tracks you submit - which will either makeup an album, EP, or single - will need to be uploaded onto our secure servers, which will allow us to convert them into the different formats required by the digital music providers. Since each retailer has different formatting standards, we'll take care of the converting for you - all you need to do is upload your music one time and we do the rest. If you're looking to sell your music online, work with a distribution service that allows you to maintain control of every step of the submission process without any hassle.
